Hi there, or should I say* sniff * there. I've been sick two weeks in a row. Or I was "healthy" a couple of days, but the damn flu came back. And because I've been sick, my house is a mess and I have nothing to show to you. But then I got an idea. I will show you the best things of the latest decoration magazines that I've been reading while lying in bed.

I'm gonna start by introducing a kitchen that I think is absolutely adorable. The black-and-white decoration is nicely softened with the brown wooden table, the old-fashioned basket and rug. It also seems to be a bit of a trend to have many different kinds of chairs around the kitchen table. And I also love the idea to cover the upper half of the kitchen door with cards and photos, looks nice and artistic.

And as you can see from the two pictures above, there seems to be two dominant trends of decoration that are really in at the moment: the extremely minimalistic style and the romantic country style. Actually, I must admit that I like them both and it's really hard to decide which to prefer. Or maybe they can be combined in a harmonious way, or can they?

I just fell in love with the framed art above. The bird and cage next to each other is a really good idea! And extremely easy to make at home with just frames, printer and paper. And finally, I will show you a really nice bedroom. The colours are just perfect together. The mint green makes the room wicked, and that's weird because usually I dislike green colours. And what a good idea to use an old heater as a bedside table.
